WestOne Services, part of the Department of Training and Workforce Development, required multimedia and web-based learning resources that were simple, effective, and accessible. The projects aimed to support flexible learning initiatives and government training programs across Western Australia.

Task
  • Conceptualise and design themes for educational websites and multimedia projects.

  • Build multimedia websites ensuring W3C compliance, cross-browser/platform compatibility, and adherence to accessibility standards.

  • Coordinate with multiple departments to meet project goals and deadlines.

  • Create interactive learning resources using Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, XHTML, CSS, and ActionScript.

Result

Produced several high-profile learning websites under the Australian Flexible Learning Framework, including Turning Point, QTImPlayer, and Immersive eLearning. Each project received highly positive feedback from project managers for clarity, interactivity, and usability. Additionally, developed an interactive training package for the Disability Services Commission, combining multimedia elements to support staff learning. These projects demonstrated strong technical execution, accessibility compliance, and effective design solutions that enhanced training delivery.
